Futoshi and Ann Abe extend the warmest of welcome to all our guests, old and new.
We welcome you to our child-friendly guest house. We offer you a professional and relaxing service and we do our utmost best to meet all your needs on your well-earned holiday..

Careful attention is taken in the preparation of our menus. We do our best to satisfy our guests' appetites from a varied breakfast menu to a gourment four-course evening meal. Japanese food prepared by Futoshi himself, who has worked in Japanese hotels and London restaurants. We offer a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere ensuring our guests feel at home, whether enjoying the pleasant surroundings in our stunning gardens, a quiet read in our lounge or having a drink in the bar.

For the energetic person we offer free dance lessons, including ballet, street dance etc from Ann who is a qualified teacher and professional dancer and choreographer, having toured all around the world in various dance groups. Ann teaches in her own dance school, Dance Vibez on the Isle of Wight and performs cabaret in a dance group too, Danz Attack, which you may see if you are staying at our guest house on a Saturday night.

Pets corner. If you like animals you may like to see our childrens pets including rabbits, guinea pigs and chip monks.

THE PERFECT LOCATION

We are 5 minutes walk from the beach, shops and leisure centre. Very near to the train station and a bus stop just outside the guest house. We open all year round offering special deals in low season.

Our bedrooms offer a good 4 star standard. All our rooms are en-suite with colour television, tea and coffee facilites, hair dryers. We offer baby listeners, to give parents a break in the evenings. Cots, high chairs, baby baths, toys, books etc. all available at no extra cost to you. Our own children are very friendly too!

Families sharing get child reductions, cheaper weekly rates available. Dinner is a four-course meal at £20.00 per night, child reductions available. Monday - Friday Only.

Sandown is famous for its long beach, offering safe bathing and space. With a varied choice of pubs and restaurants, don't forget the Sandown Carnivals.

The Isle of Wight also offers many varied activities and attractions for all ages. Please visit the Sandown Tourist Information Centre which is situated at the end of the road to the guest house.

The guest house is centrally situated for all amenities and attractions. Just a short stroll from the lovely cliff top walk, pier, shops, Leisure Centre and Sandown High Street.

All the rooms are ensuite and have colour televisions (some rooms have DVD players), tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers, alarm clocks and all are heated.

Cots, highchairs and baby baths are also available at no extra cost. We offer child reductions for families sharing.

Dinner

Futoshi having worked in London and Japan offers a great choice of menu's including Japanese dishes - Teriyaki Chicken, Japanese Chicken Curry etc. A great chance to enjoy and taste oriental dishes without having to go so far!

We serve dinner in the evening and is available all year round. Evening meals are served from Monday to Friday only.

Our breakfast menu consists of a variety of hot choices, plus we offer a cold buffet of cereals, fruits and fruit juices as well.
"Simply the best" as one guest described it.

Travel Information

A Car Ferry booking service is available through the hotel all year at trade rates. Routes from Southampton to East Cowes and Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth. Early booking is essential for those travelling with a car during the high season.

For the convenience of all our guests, we offer free parking on the guest house forecourt. However, spaces are limited to one car per room, Thank You.

Sandowns' small train station is a 5 minute walk from the guest house. This offers a regular service to and from Ryde pier where foot passengers for the Fast Cat to Portsmouth Harbour and Train station and the Hovercraft to Southsea are available.
